FastPass CDL can coordinate test-day vehicle availability after eligibility review, signed written agreement, payment, and written confirmation. Texas DPS controls all testing, scoring, licensing, appointment availability, and final decisions.

Who Can Request Vehicle Access

Eligibility Requirements

Vehicle access is available only for eligible Texas CLP holders. Before requesting availability, customers should confirm their DPS eligibility and any applicable FMCSA ELDT requirements.

Before requesting availability, confirm:

  • You hold a valid Texas CLP for the requested vehicle class.
  • Your CLP restrictions match the requested vehicle configuration.
  • You have any legally required medical certification.
  • You have completed applicable ELDT requirements, if required.
  • You have held your CLP for the required period.
  • You are requesting access for a Texas DPS CDL skills-test process.
  • You agree to written rental terms before any reservation is confirmed.

People who do not yet hold a valid Texas CLP may request general information, but they may not schedule vehicle operation.

How the Request Process Works

5 Steps to Request CDL Vehicle Access

Step 1 — Confirm Your Texas CLP

Vehicle access requires a valid Texas CLP for the requested class and applicable restrictions.

Step 2 — Tell Us the Vehicle Class You Need

Let FastPass CDL know whether you need Class A or Class B vehicle access and whether you have a confirmed DPS skills-test appointment.

Step 3 — Review Availability and Eligibility

FastPass CDL reviews equipment availability, safety requirements, eligibility information, and requested dates.

Step 4 — Sign Written Rental Terms

No reservation is confirmed until the applicable written agreement is signed and payment terms are completed.

Step 5 — Use the Vehicle Only During Confirmed Dates and Conditions

Vehicle access is limited to confirmed dates, locations, conditions, and terms. Texas DPS controls all testing, scoring, licensing, and appointment decisions.

Future CDL Training Services

Classroom & Online CDL Training — Coming Soon, Pending TWC Approval

FastPass CDL plans to offer classroom and online CDL training services in the future. These future services are pending Texas Workforce Commission approval.

FastPass CDL is not currently accepting enrollment, payment, deposits, or applications for classroom training, online training, ELDT theory, or a vocational CDL school program. Training services will not be offered, sold, scheduled, or delivered unless and until required approvals are obtained.
